Fall Festival 2009

We had a fun night of playing dress up. John was the fisherman who took the puppy fishing with him, they caught the little lobster, and brought it home for me to cook!

Dora and Brooklyn in Action

Brooklyn has made some new friends at a birthday party. Dora and Boots showed up to the party. Brooklyn was not too sure of them at first, but then she loosened up and began to cut a rug with them. Brielle loved them of course and they loved her too.

Sticker Time

Brooklyn decided that she would dress up in stickers. I walked in and she was working hard on this project! It was too cute I had to share with you all.

Homecoming Hair

Homecoming 2009
It was just yesterday when I was teaching these girls P.E. when they were in the 7th grade and now they are seniors!
I have done all of their hair for years and this will be one of the last up-do's I get to do on them.
They are all the sweetest girls, I hope my girls grow up to be like some of them.

Today was a sad but wonderful day. It was the day of my dads best friends, 19 year old sons funeral. I did not know Tayte personally, but I knew his parents. When I heard that he had passed away, my heart just broke, it broke for the family. I cannot imagine having my precious child die, especially with no warning. But as I was praying for his parents, I just felt God saying, they lost the best gift, but I think they gained the most amazing gift, both of his parents were baptized today. They conformed that Christ came into their lives. How amazing is that? After I left the funeral I felt at peace, knowing that they were going to go to heaven also.
One thing I learned through this is, if you say you are going to pray for someone when they are hurting or need prayer, so it right then and there! We often say "I'll prayer for you" but in our busy lives we get side tracked. So make a point to really say a prayer, if you say you will. It will pay off.
